Hateful GP. Wouldn't affect me if it didn't continue. Would be the first GP of the year in normal conditions though, so we could gauge the true (race) pace of all cars.

A year later and still the same questions. Something is going definitely wrong there,

Really, why sacrifice a European GP for this place? Last week Bernie saw no concerns for security measures, and criticised the media for inflaming the situation with reports of more protests... "Seriously, the press should just be quiet and deal with the facts rather than make up stories."

I guess its all the media's fault.

I think it's by far one of the least liked races on the calendar. Such a shame that money talks hey...

    Comparing apples with oranges:

Whether Bahrain is on the calendar or not has no bearing on whether Spa will survive financially.

I don't care for Bahrain and would happily see it gone but that has nothing to do with Spa.

That said I wish Bernie would adopt some kind of mixed pricing: Tracks that suck have to pay extra and subsidize tracks, which are great but in financial trouble. With that model Bahrain and Spa would actually be tied together: One pays an extra fee so that poor Belgium gets off the hook from Bernie. But I uess that's a bit utopian in a capitalistic world.

    I should've said - What I'd prefer to see.

You can include South Africa, Mexico, Potugal, Argentina and the USA with that ;)

if its Bahrain or no GP then I would take Bahrain.

Bahrain in lieu of another venue, especially an established or historic venue, then Bahrain loses everytime IMHO.

They should just get rid of the whole GP altogether for good. Someone died there, and Bernie is accusing the press of blowing up the whole situation, and making stories.

How can he know? He's not even there. He's just a greedy prick that doesn't give a damn about human rights, whatsoever. He's only concerned about the money he's getting from Bahrain. Such a shame.

I hate Bahrain. Such a blant and "brown" track. There is nothing amazing about it whatsoever.
But Spa on the other hand.... my favorite race track in the world.

or...those gentleman in Bahrain could simply purchase Spa. Problem solved. "Welcome to Spa, presented by BAPCO."

No to Bahrain -- it can only damage F1.

Keep Spa -- it's as important to F1 as Ferrari.

I'm tired of Bernie not knowing right from wrong... he's bringing the sport into disrepute.

I'm sure Bernie knows right from wrong. The issue is when he sold 70% or so to CVC, I'm sure they're putting pressure on getting more and more money out of F1.
