Giallo Midas was a 'standard optional' color for the Gallardo
Giallo Orion was a 'standard optional' color for Murcielago.
Both are pearl.

Therefore I assume it is Giallo Midas and not Orion ....

And yes, Giallo Midas is the Pearl Yellow for the Gallardo while Giallo Orion is the Pearl Yellow for the Murcie/Aventador.

All correct. It is Giallo Midas due to being on a Gallardo. Since the Gallardos are not hand painted like the 12 cylinder cars, the end result is slightly different on the two cars, even though the paint is the same.

You are correct that it is much more dynamic than that picture shows.

There is also a non-metallic yellow for the Gallardo called Giallo Halys. Matte yellow is called Giallo Horus.
