    When I finally discovered this car in Mississippi and hauled its sorry a$$ back to my garage in California, it came with nothing but a pink slip.

    With a bit of research, some investigating I was able to obtain the car's original factory invoice, tools, license plates & more. Its always gratifying to see a car's provenance established with historical items.

    Beckerman's ill-fated Miura moments before its untimely demise. The best pic Ive come across of this scene. Its a P400, Rosso Miura with Bianco interior it seems.

    True.

    Last I saw a pic of the car the underside of the nose had been bashed in. Now its been pulled out and 'fixed'. I wonder if this car will ever be properly cared for or restored.

    Didn't the current owner want to preserve the original colour sheme?

    Is this the car once owned up here in Olympia..then was with the last owner out of Scottsdale AZ area, a docotor there..? I think Mark was his name..he sold it in late Januray this year.//??

    No. You are speaking of a different car, a P400, chassis number 3102 which belonged to Paul Hoey in Olympia.

    Paul & I spoke about the car often, and in July 2006 it was sold to an AZ enthusiast.

    Yes, that car. I saw it in AZ at his house in January..a week later he called me and said it had sold for $525,000...but I do not know where it went or who bought it.
