I watched it without the subtitles and still loved it! :D

Need to watch it again, found out Netflix has it with subtitles, I watched it on a 'shady' website, though I cancelled my membership, it doesn't fully cancel till April.

I actually watched the second "Transformers" movie lastnight all the way through and I liked it alot more than the first one. Missed "Star Trek" first time around so that movie is on the agenda (programmed for this week).

I know I am WAY behind but what can I say?

Just got home from Hunger Games. None of us (including our 20 twenty year old daughter) have read the book. We really enjoyed it.

Ya I love jennifer lawrence. The book was impossible to put down. Most captivating read since girl with dragon tattoo. Look forward to movie and happy for its box office success. It's like the anti twilight. Team gale vs team peeta whatever.

I caught alittle bit of "Friends with Benefits" tonight and it has some hilarious scenes and it does not hurt that there are alot of 'walking around in panties' scenes.

Mila is fabulous but Crazy, Stupid, Love was so much better than Friends with Benefits IMO.

I saw Ides of March. Mediocre and predictable.

Some of Midnight in Paris, it was pretty slow for me, I was interested but I was bored at the same time. I forwarded some of the slow parts but I really liked the soundtrack.

    I totally loved that movie.

Did you get that his time travel goes deeper and deeper back? It's very cleverly done and shows all the great artists etc

I also loved the political undertones :)

Agreed, funny lines but after the target audience funny bone and I'm outside the window. Mindless but good solid laughs throughout.

I think it was average. The ending was just too easy.

"Jack and Jill". Despite all the bad reviews, I enjoyed it. Sure it was corny, the acting wasn't the best, and the storyline wasn't all that great...but I found it to be funny (I love Adam Sandler's stuff) and a good entertainment film. :)

Deathtrap. Hadn't seen it in so long I forgot what it was about. Still good!

I'm a Francophile and thought that movie was weak. I almost fell asleep, other than getting pissed at the stupid political agenda on the front then at the end. Looked it up later & found out it was a Woody Allen flick. That helped to clear up why it sucked & the politics.

I didn't get it. It was like a documentary on sports? Very slow. One of the few movies in life I couldn't even force myself to watch (and I have a strong stomach - see above movie I sat through). Rented it, skipped around the disc... and returned it the same night (scratching my head).

Immortals: Good movie but not as good as 300, which it closely resembles in style (not surprising as many of the same creative talent worked on both). Mickey Rourke was an excellent bad guy. Plot was somewhat lame (if you are immortal how do you die?). Good but not great. B

The Muppets: Forgettable. OK for kids, but no one under 30 will get many of the references or remember the show. This would have been a great movie to have been made around 1993, but it just seems like they were trying to cash in on nostalgia. Two parents remember the Muppets and bring their brood at $10 a pop was the business case. C+

Abduction: Good story, good action/fight scenes. Surprisngly good thriller, if a bit predictable. It is like they ran out of money by the end though. Starts out with a huge stunt and spectacular explosion. By the end they are just running around in the woods. B

Behind Bars: Return to the Farm: A documentary made 10 years after the first about Angola prison in Louisiana. Follows the lives of four inmates (one now parolled, one pardoned, one which continues to plead his innocence, one who hasn't figured out LWOP means he will die in the prison). If you ever saw the first doc, this one will be a good watch.

Barbie Mermaid Tale 2: Enjoyable if you are a seven year old girl, not so great if you are her dad. Wasn't one Barbie Mermaid Tale enough? :)

Wow I thought immortals was horrible and I saw 300 six times. I love that comic stylism but thought the plot was terrible.

Harold and kumar Christmas: meh. 2/4

Young adult: charlize is great but her character was despicable 2/4

Descendants: not even half as good as sideways. And I live in Hawaii lol. Meandering plot and annoying daughters. Clooney is always great though. 2.5/4

I'm watching rum diary tonight. Hunter s Thompson ftw.
