    Hi all,

    I took some images of the engine bay with a thermal camera and figured that some of these might be of interest to some folk here.

    This was after a somewhat spirited drive, but I let it cool off for a while as the thermal camera wasn't charged...

    wow! This is an interesting aspect, definitely a heat tub of sorts through the eye of the thermal imager :)

    What are those cameras running now? Last I knew the cheapest FLIR model was around $5000?

    These were taken with a Fluke TiR. They retail around $4,500, but show up used on eBay for ~$3,500.
    I used the "I'll make back the cost by using it to figure out where to add more insulation in the house" excuse :)

    Now that I've done so, I'll eventually get around to also putting mine up on eBay...
