    There is a posting on ebay for a "rare" mirror switch with a starting price of $129. It is a standard easily available BMW part number. I posted the part number on this forum about 5 years ago. There were 12 parts in warehouse and I had it the next day.

    Before I bought part from BMW my local F dealer told me the part was NLA but the part guy is quite good. He always tells me what he previously sold the part for. In this case he said $110. So what acronym do you have for F? 100% mark up for an easily sourced part!

    Bav auto is the high priced source for BMW parts
    That switch is $32 @ ebmw parts, they are an authorized BMW dealer selling OE parts
    Used ones are a dime a dozen on a zillion 3,5,6 & 7 series BMs early 70s - mid 80s in the wrecking yards.

    I paid $15 plus free shipping on eBay last week for this switch. Needed a replacement for my Mondial.
