i have a very large, heavy and high quality book with about 60 pages of this New York Gallardo promo thing. Lots of human brain images in yellow too. Cannot find it right now, but Cristina of the Museo gave it to me a few years ago. As soon as I find it, I will at least post the print date.

    JL,
I trade my book for another one with the case box and this one is signed by Ferruccio...

That is awesome Oliver. I am going to assume which is never good to do that about 100 of the 150 boxed books were either autographed or personalized by Ferruccio. I know it sounds a little weird, but I feel a little honored by having my book, I can't imagine what the feeling would be like to have a personalized one as some have indicated. What Ferruccio created was amazing. It seams that between members on the board and acquaintances we have about 10% of the published boxed books.

I was browsing this thread looking at all the awesome memorabilia and realized that this Alpine poster that still hangs on my wall today is about 30 years old.

I remember I got it at the car audio store when I had an Alpine Stereo put in my car back when the poster was part of their promotions. At that time the Countach was like a space ship compared to everything else on the road and I hung it on the wall to stare at never thinking I would ever see one.

As luck would have it, someone in my small town bought this white one not long after I got the poster. He had painted the wheels and changed the exhaust. I'll never forget the first time I saw it. I was riding my bicycle to the beach and from behind I hear an engine sound like nothing I've heard before. With no previous exposure to exotics or race cars it was mind blowing and I stopped and turned around to see what it could be and there was the car on my poster rumbling by before downshifting to the stop sign. I was breathless.

As it turned out the car was owned by my friend's father and a few years later I actually got to take a ride in it after taking this picture of it in the driveway :)

WOW! Never seen the blue one on the right! Looks like a very early attempt just like the two tone badges seen on the very early 350GT.
    Where did you find them?

I think the blue one on the bottom left was used only on some Diablo models, early VT Roadster and SV iirc

The light blue one on bottom right was a limited serie, a kind of sketch, few were fitted on cars... it is the same production than the GTV moke up standing at Dosso Museo or Tonino's museum !!!!

He seems to have so much fun with his tricky game "Automobili" factory that makes us so crazy about... even 40 years after he sold that business...

I've a deep & strong respect for what he did !

We will never thank him enough for what he makes us dream about and lives for.

I have just found my almost-A3 black, soft covered Gallardo brochure. Only 20 pages in b&w with yellow brain shots. Heavy, high quality glossy paper with great shots. Looks like the same era as the CD set posted. Absolutely no publishing info anywhere.

If anyone would like some pix, please PM me.

This is a quite common brochure, despite the large format.
Published in different languages it would be #116, 117, 118 or 119 on the Lamborghini brochures 'masterlist' .
With the same content available in A5 size brochures as well (6 publications, #120-121-122-122a-123-124), and as hardcover 'limited edition' also (3000 / language, 5 publications, #126-127-128-129-150 (lim.ed. 4500)).
