The W8 hold up well for 80s coolness...obviously better than DeLorean (style) and almost better than a Diablo.

I am much more fan of the W series vs the M series. Hadn't noticed the design of the rear spoiler on the M series was very similar to Pete Brock's Ghia Sport 5000 back in 1966.

The teal one pictured is the WX3. It's the design that Megatech borrowed to produce the M12.

Yes. The only W8 that is "lost" has been in Saudi Arabia since new.

How many black M12s were there? I saw a black one at the Peterson Museum in California last year.

Just reading my old magazines & read that the first 2 W8's were headed to Saudi Arabia...but only 1 went? I'm also curious about the purple one & its "delivery" , as I read an odd story on a forum but not sure what's true..?

Also, did the production cars have heads up display? I've noticed the control knob for it, but it isn't mentioned in any of my magazines...

This is not an Indonesian "M series"
It is the original Jerry Wiegert built Vector Avtech WX3.

Well, it was purchased by the Emir of Qatar who then gave it to the King´s son Mohammed bin Fahd as a present.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_bin_Fahd

The car was shipped from California to Doha, Qatar first.
Unfortunately, it is close to impossible to get any further info on today´s whereabouts of the last missing VECTOR W8.
Chassis 011 is the car that was used for the official VECTOR W8 borchure and 1992 press photos:

Except for the repainted prototype car, out of 14 production M12´s the following chassis were black:

    prototype (brochure) car: bronze/tan --> later: black/tan

M12-001 US flag car (for sale)
M12-002 fly yellow (restored car owned by F-chatter)
    M12-003 black/black Alcantara
    M12-004 red/Magnolia
    M12-005 purple/black
    M12-006 silver (destroyed by fire)
    M12-007 red/Magnolia
    M12-008 black/grey
    M12-009 teal/blue
M12-010 black/red (formerly Prince Jefri of Brunei)
    M12-011 orange/blue now orange/black (currently for sale!)
    M12-012 fly yellow/black (for sale)
M12-013 silver (currently being restored in Dubai after drowning in heavy rain)
    M12-014 pearl white/two tone rust/silver interior

Overall there were three prototype M12s:

    vectorfiles,

You seen to know quite a bit about them.... Are there any in Florida???

I would love to have the opportunity to do a proper photoshoot with one... I always thought they were one of the best looking cars ever designed.

When I talk about a proper photoshoot... I mean do something like this:
