The DS was a masterpiece in shape and in its technical innovation. It made Citroen stand apart from the rest, something it does not anymore today, unfortunately.
Ironic that some qualify as masterpieces some cars that appear in an "ugliest cars of all time" thread. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder indeed. Personally I love the Lamborghini Espada and the Citroën DS, and think that others like the Fiat Multipla or the Ferrari Drogo are "interesting". I prefer "interesting" cars over good looking but boring and plain designs.
+19,20,21 or 23. Wonderful car to drive. Love all the Troons. Unusual but far from hideous, lots of details to admire throughout the range. For me it would be anything offering an opera window, the blight of NA autos throughout the 70s/80s. Special award for the 60-61 Plymouth Warthog. Do they look good to anyone ?
My wife says it looks like a "garbage truck". Not sure how much of it was the car and how much of it was the fact my evil ex was Mexican.
Something about that Espada just looks kind of cool to me.....I don't particularly hate it. However, that Ferrari 330 Drogo has got to be the absolute ugliest Fcar ever. What's the story behind that car? Does anyone know? I googled it but there isn't even a wikipedia listing for it.
It was a one-off commissioned by an Italian night club owner. Here is a link with more pictures, http://www.coachbuild.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=9247 I saw the car in person about 6/7 years ago at a shop tour of Goodman Racing. It is just as ugly in person. "Drogo Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 'Navarro' 'The Golden Car' is a 1966 330GT 2+2 #07979 with a very weird looking (not to say ugly) body by Drogo, commissioned by Italian night club owner Norbert Navarro in 1967/1968. The car was originally gold, later painted red. Money can't buy good taste... " Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I could never understand how the Brits seem to love that car so much. During the 80's it was always in their car magazines as if it were some kind of automotive revelation.
Probably the most fantastic car ever! ... and I still remember my father's 71-model DS21 IE as a car that made basically everything else look very mundane in comparison.... Well, apart from the SM of course
I have to say I dig the Bristol 403. Far from ugly in fact it has a nice classic look. But then some would say I have no taste. They'd probably be right.
