Good day all! I am just saying hello really. Despite having had a number of Ferraris over the years, and having owned my 550 for the last 9 and a 512 for longer than that, I have never participated in a Ferrari forum. So I am looking forward to wandering round and learning some new things. Best regards from Surrey in England. Adrian
Yes it is. Over here it was known as the Berlinetta Boxer (BB) and on a bit of a whim, some years ago I bought a half share with the father of my then girlfriend. His half has since been left to me. It has been run occasionally but not driven far for quite a few years now. It still looks aggressive, but feels dated compared with modern cars. What we really wanted at the time was a Lamborghini Muira, but we couldn't find one in anything resembling good condition. I already had a 355 at the time and was seeking a future classic. Kind regards, Adrian
Thanks Adrian but I am also over here lol, I asked because it could have also been a TR512? You can tell by my username that I am a fan of these cars so I would really love to see some photos of the BB, we have an excellent section for the Boxer where you may like to post you're story and pics of the car, I for one would like that
Hi I keep the Boxer in a different country (Holland) for family reasons. I don't actually have any digital photos of this (though I do the 550) but will take some next time. It is in dark blue (can't for the life of me remember the Ferrari colour code) whereas the 550 is red. It is an odd car. I used to have an Aston DB6 with my ex-wife, which felt incredibly archaic to drive. The Boxer is far better, but there is a big gulf between it and the 550 and a smaller gulf between that and 599. I love the Boxer for romantic reasons really. That and the Muira were teenage dreams. Kind regards Adrian
