If we are 'allowed' to get one, it will be red. Did you decide on getting one?

    We shall see.

I hope they don't put such a big chrome horse on the tip of the nose.

    Eli

My guess would be 1mm e less transportation and dealer prep.

My guess is 1mm euro as well maybe more. The Russian's, Chinese and Middle Easterner's will happily pay that.

    Interesting World...

I do wonder though at the possibility of Right Hand Drive....especially at that price one would think Ferrari could perhaps cater for RHD only markets.

    I think it's around 3,400 pounds.

Only because he's the greatest racing driver who ever lived. :)

    Currently it's around 500.

I don't think anyone knows the price for sure...My own info indicates 750,000 EUR plus local taxes, which means approx. 900,000 EUR in Europe.

However Montezemolo -in his last published comments- said that the car will surprise with its design and price, which indicates a price that is lower than most people think. If it comes in below 900k, it may hurt Enzo values so I don't think Ferrari would risk it

I only know one person who's seen the car and he is not giving out any information whatsoever. However he did say that the car is amazing, which I find remarkable given that he is an extremely tough judge of modern supercars.

I expect something pretty special...and I can't wait to see it!

If they charge anything less than 1MM Euro's they're leaving a lot of money on the table as they did by underpricing the Enzo.

    We shall see...

    This:
Ferrari clambered to churn out as many Enzos as they could once they learned that people were scoffing at the "mere" $650K price tag. Ten years later, Enzos are still fetching double sticker. Ferrari wants to make sure that capital goes into their coffers and not gray market pockets.

I read that statement the other way around. I think it will have a monstrous price!

I think the surprise he meant is that the car will have Bugatti performance without the bulk, weight, gas consumption & nowhere near the price of a Veyron.

Nor will it be as expensive to operate like the Veyron.

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the Veyron tires run 38,000$ for a set and they only last like what? 10k miles?

Even at 10k, how many Veyrons have had the opportunity to wear out their tires?

It's not just the tyres- you have to replace the wheels after something like 4 tyre sets. The biggest issue for Veyron residuals is the stupendous running costs. I expect the new enzo to be a much better financial proposition to own and run. We shall see soon enough...

They are £25,000 for a set and last 2,500 miles. The wheels are £50,000 for a set and only last 7,500 miles, apparently. That's for the regular Veyron.

No, the wheels are analyzed for micro-cracking, and if they are in spec, they are still used.

how does the saying go? ...that Ferrari road cars are better when the F1 team isn't doing well, and vis-versa

in that case, this car should be a winner! :D :D
