It would have been fine without those lights up by the hood. Just use the "worlds largest fog lights" as the headlights.

I think that there are two different categories for these ugly cars. First is the car that was truly intended to be futuristic, stylish and exotic (but failed miserably). Then there is the car that was designed without any inspiration, high goals or intended exclusivity. They were just built by going through the motions to be different than what was out there but still be cheap. It is fairly easy to see which cars go into each category. I guess for me, it doesn't bother me as much when someone tried hard to push the design envelope but missed verses a company throwing a piece of junk out there without really trying at all.

This one is at least twice as ugly as the anteater, costs a lot more than $1.0MM and doesn't even come with a hemi!

Sometimes you wish you could talk directly to the designer just so you could ask "why?".

I think that more than a few designers were lead astray by a wind tunnel (or the thought that it would work well in a wind tunnel).

i have seen the Exelero in person. Definitely not ugly, very impressive - but much too much in every respect!

I saw it a dozen times in an L.A. showroom & though I was glad to see it leave, my vision is irreversibly damaged.

that thing is probably the worst Ferrari-rebody but i would love to have it in a collection - in original gold livery it will be a real talking piece at every Ferrari Club event. i was really thinking about buying it when it was for sale.

Not even close to ugly....and should not be mentioned in an "ugly" thread imo.

I totally agree this car is a snoozefest. I have no idea what they were thinking.
