The Descendants - this is a movie that I did not care to see but my wife brought it home yesterday.

It actually was very good. Make you appreciate family and loved ones.

I have heard that it is a very good movie also and for me anything with Clooney is good.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy: It's been awhile since I turned off a movie. Boring and slooooooww. I absolutely love spy movies but I couldn't make it through this one. If anyone has seen the whole movie....did I miss anything by turning it off not even 1/2 way through?

My wife checked out "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" because she liked the book. We only made it about 20 minutes into the show, because the dialog was utterly unintelligible. I did a google search for reviews of the movie, and we weren't the only ones who felt that way. No excuse for that.

Saw "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" a few weeks ago. It may be because I work with several Swedes that I didn't find the accent tough to follow. I do find the Swedish language to be utterly unlike any other from Europe (German, for example). When I was in Stockholm this January I felt completely lost, street signs were just gibberish to me. Luckily everyone under 60 years old has had English since elementary school and they all can communicate.

The movie is very dark, with a few memorable, horrible moments. What happens to Lisbeth is bad but her revenge is possibly worse.

At the end of the day, I had the "twist" figured out long beofre it was revealed, and the evil bad guy toward the end was basically just another evil bad guy.

The ending is a little lacking, but that might have been the point. I think they are talking about a sequel, as there is a whole series of books.

A dangerous method. Cronenberg is always edgy. Keira was fabulous as were fassbender, cassel and viggo. I loved a history of violence and eastern promises and this movie while not as good was still worth the rental IMO.

About Carl Jung and Freud when they started psychoanalysis field. Keira was jungs first patient he tried psychoanalysis on, Russian Jewish young woman who was a sexual masochist. Enough said lol.

No it was bad. Charlizes character was absolutely despicable. I wanted those two hours of my life back.

Hunger Games. Overhyped action movie; kept looking for something profound but it wasn't there.

Three Stooges. If you like the original shorts you will like this movie. It had its funny parts for sure, although many of them are in the commercials. It won't sweep the Oscars but was enjoyable for what it is.

Yup, I thought it sucked. Cheesy, teen-age crap. No wonder it's a hit just like the Twilight stuff.

I really enjoyed it, Larry & Moe were spot on but not so much for Curly. The only thing I didn't like was the scene in the hospital with the babies, that was disgusting.
