Amazing. San Diego needs to learn you have to run until the Umpire says the play is dead.

Padres have no outs and runners on first and second.

The batter is almost hit by the pitch trying to bunt -- but the ball somehow hits the bat.

The ball hits fowl but keeps rolling. The umpire makes no call but the runners on base think it's foul. They stay on their bases (dumb!!!)

The ball rolls FAIR, the Umpire calls it fair, and the catcher throws to third base (no runner there because he's still on second) who then throws to second -- no runner there -- who then throws to first -- the batter never ran to first.

    Triple play!

Hey! Ozzie Smith's non American idol son pulled an unassisted triple play against my team in little league, I still have nightmares over it. :) (true story, :))

I did one in Grade School.

Hot one to 3rd. Caught it for Out 1, tapped 3rd for Out 2, ran down Norman B for Out 3 before he got back to 2nd. He was pissed.

Once in a lifetime shot, what're you gonna do?

Haha, it still depresses me to this day. A few years ago, the year the all star game was in STL, bank of America had a q&a session with Ozzie, I brought that up during my question about Don Denkinger and the '85 WS, hoping to bring closure, but no, it still shakes me awake every now and then, :)

Lol. Now not to take anything away from Jackie Robinson, but number 42 is retired, and IMO the best way to honor him is to keep it retired
