I am NOT working that weekend! I will need to buy tix to the Challenge series and otherwise, I am in! Are you guys getting general admission or the VIP package? I may only make it on Saturday and I may leave by 2-3 pm.

From the FNA website, the VIP package is as below, but is it worth $105 over the general admission? I would love to hobnob with the Ferrari owners since I have usually watched from the outside with my nose pressed against the glass my entire life!

Purchase a pass for yourself and your guests for a full day of VIP Hospitality treatment in true Ferrari style. The registration fee for each package is $125 (USD) for select events per day per guest. Registration includes:
•One (1) day event admission for one (1) person
•Exclusive access to the Ferrari Corral Parking for your Ferrari
•Access to the Ferrari VIP hospitality area offering premium meal service for breakfast and lunch as well as a full selection of snacks and beverages throughout the day

I believe all of us have VIP passes. With it, you'll not only be able to park in the Ferrari corral, but you'll get two touring or sport sessions with your Ferrari on the track. Worth the price of admission for that alone... Get the VIP pass. :)

    See you soon!

do we need a helmet and balaclava to run on the track? How about a suit? This gives me a reason to buy that Schumacher orange helmet I have been eyeing!

You will just need a helmet for the sport sessions. During touring sessions, no helmets are needed and passengers are allowed. During the sport sessions, helmets are required and no passengers allowed.

I just registered for the VIP for Saturday. I don't have a helmet so I guess I'll go for the touring session, unless they have helmets there. I don't want to beat up my never-tracked CS at least not until I get to know the car well.

I'll be at that Chevron at 8am on Sat morning as well! I'll see everybody that morning! I'll look for you at the Chevron, Orrie! I'll be wearing the Fernando Alonso red cap (and I'll be in a black CS).

Excellent! Just remember that it's NEXT Saturday, not THIS Saturday... Cuz I won't be waiting at the Chevron until the 28th ;) ...

I won't be able to stay until the end of the event, sadly, which means I'll miss the second touring track session (again, just like last year...), but I'm just going to hang out with my fellow Ferraristi, enjoy the cars with my buddies, and enjoy being an owner for as long as it lasts. :)

Gettin' excited for this, I gotta say!

So, who've we got so far? (Feel free to add your name to the list...)

Just asking...is there anyone going to Sears Point, who would like to have a barbecue at the beach after the event Saturday? (40 minutes further west, and 2.2 hours total back to Sacramento)

The schedule says the morning touring session starts at 9:30 so we should arrive there and get checked in by 9:00 at the latest. I suggest we depart Peets in Rocklin by 7:30, meet up with the guys in West Sac at ~8:00 and get to the track by 9:00. If we miss the morning session we wait till late afternoon.

So meet at Peets at Nugget in Rocklin 7-7:15 and depart by 7:30 sharp, yeah?

You guys in West Sac be ready to boogie in case we get there early. We'll pull off, wake you up with the horn but won't plan to stop till we get there. Sound good?

When I posted, I thought this was for the Laguna Seca Event. Still might go to Infineon though.

I just might have to come down for more than 1 day though. I need my trigger finger back up and used.

Yes, Dave, that sounds good to me - the earlier the better. I probably won't be able to stick around for the late touring session, and wouldn't want to miss the morning one. As with last year, it'll take a few minutes to get checked in and parked in the corral, so I'm game for whatever time you choose. I'll head for the West Sac meet point at whatever time you guys meet at Peet's, so I'll have time to top off on gas and be ready to go at the drop of a hat.

I thought the touring session didn't start until 1045? I don't mind leaving early.

9:30-9:50 Touring Session 1. Don't wanna miss it. So let's definitely depart Peets by 7:29AM

So I plan on leaving Reno very early on Saturday am. I'm don't want to guarantee anything but if time allows, do you all mind if I meet up with you guys at the Sacramento meeting place and drive down with you guys? I'd be in the MINI so I'd definitely be the oddball in the group...

I can supply the photos though! :)

My CS got a CEL on Saturday! Misfire of cylinder 6. It's at Salerno's right now. If I can't get it back before the weekend, I'll be rolling into the Ferrari Corral in my Porsche! Bummer!
