Luca Announces New Enzo By End Of 2012!!!

Mark dont be an a$$... Yes it is for 900....Im no expert but that gives u no right to speck down to me... I respect people and dont calm to know it all and I ask for the same from everyone. The f50 4.7L 512hp that 109 a litre the Enzo is 6L 660hp that 110hp a litre so I cant see why Ferrari could not find another 15hp per litre as for drivetrain loss etc that is all out side my scope of current understand. If im wrong im wrong I got no issue there. everyone can have there say. and im just sharing my say

Don't mind him Simon. I believe I had heard rumours of 800-850hp but as you know those numbers would be at the crank and not rwhp, some regard one more than the other. I do not find 900hp at the crankshaft inconcieveable but for myself I'm alittle hectic about it happening (per Lambo's attitude).

I would downsize the engine (cc/ci) and add boost for 900hp.

To me the boost idea would be great for these little ****y under powered car that u find clued up behind trucks on single lane open roads. Ive come across it alot of times and find myself having to overtake 3 or 4 cars plus a truck in one go sure it can be fun but its only a matter of time before someone get smashed trying it. Im sure the boost will grow on me for a supercar. Looking forward to more info coming to light over the coming months

 

Now, now lets not knock boost. If someone prefers N/A thats great but I just like hp no matter how it is achieved, so too each their own.

My point is that 900hp can be achieved with boost more easily than enlarging displacement and spinning it too stratospheric rpms which decreases engine longevity.

Saw that people are ripping him up about it also calming to have seen the F12 months before anyone else.l needs to back it up with sumthing other wise its just smoke

Also saw someone saying that his family member who works at Ferrari said these mule are the 458 scud mule not the next enzo

There's also no point in saying that you've had exclusive access to something unless you can prove it with documentation. There are few people in the automotive world that really have that kind of clout.

Maybe this guy saw the real thing...maybe not. Unless real information leaks to the public, none of the jargon matters.

On a more practical note, I remain convinced that it will be ugly regardless of what anyone says.

I do think this is a possibility too.

 

It is but there's too much camo I think. A lot of the camo is on the engine which is what I bet they are testing just like what they did with the Enzo.
You could be correct, we can't say for sure so it's anyone's guess.

 

The stradale has like 120 Hp/L

 

It makes it fun to speculate ! !

damn thats a lot of power. I mean, the 458 already smokes the tires on exit in first through third gears. I can't imagine what you would do with 50% more power, beside buy more tires!

In the F40, first and second gears are pretty much worthless. Gonna need a lot of technology to manage that kind of power.

 

I just read an article here that says the F70 will sprint up to 250 mph. Not sure I believe that but with he power to weight its really going to depend on aerodynamics.

I really don't think so. Besides being ugly, looks simple.

 

Looks too much like a Opel Speedster or Vauxhall VX220. Kinda short and squashy; not long enough.
