I just received an email regarding a 1300 mile yellow for sale at Marshall Goldman. Asking price of $1.6. Seems like the Enzo market is in a bit of a frenzy these days with a number of them changing hands and coming up for sale.

This car was available privately for a considerable period and we were offered this car prior to it coming available on the open market. Both my clients opted for different colors - which is why its now available to the public.

The asking price is, shall we say, optimistic, and is certainly not the best number the car can be acquired at.

As regards the cars changing hands, my take on this is pure coincidence. I'm not getting my hopes up that I will be facilitating 2 Enzos a month (although Id like that) because the reality is that a spate of sales can easily be followed by 6 months without activity with this particular model.

I'd describe the market as strong, but not in a frenzy.

I say this because during my recent search I discovered that there are some on the market that have still not sold, and a similar number available privately as well.

Having said all that, its nice to see some going into homes where they will be driven & seen.

There are two Enzos (both red) on Ebay right now-- One from Motorcars International and one from CNC Motors. The Motorcars one is $1.45M and the CNC Motors is $1.39M.

The Motorcars one is under contract (as I stated in the other thread) and the CNC car (JG's former Enzo in Florida) is richly-priced for the 11,000 miles it has.

Geez that is hard to believe I remember when that Enzo was for sale down the road at auto quest for somewhere in the 900k range with 9k miles on it. Now it has 2k more miles and they want hundreds of thousands more for it. Seems like the enzo market has been slowly creeping up the past few years.

Surprised it's for sale already, as it sold with a F40, F50, and 288 GTO in 2010 to the same collector. Maybe he is looking for a red or black Enzo...

Yes it has crept up, but remember, asking prices do nothing to establish the market. They are merely wishful thinking.
