This jack looks just like the Dino jack but the spindle that enters the car is smaller in diameter. Any idea what car it goes with? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dino Compendium page 107, jack listed as for the 206GT only. BTW, was surprised that the 246 GT/L section did not list this smaller diameter shaft in that section too as I thought there was crossover
I checked the Compendium and the 206 jack handle has more bends than mine. Also, the lifting pin is angled on the 206 whereas mine is straight. Mine is a Battaini jack with the "B" on the handle knob. Same as the Dino jack.
It appears to be an early-L crossover design unless someone has modified a later one, however it looks like original paint etc. The cap is missing, it should fit the smaller cap and if so the body/handle is later L-series on and the peg certainly appear to fit 206gt/early-L. I've seen 206 jacks with straight tubes and ones with various degrees of kink in them so I don't think that means anything. You'll need the correct one for your car, and if this isn't it then I'll probably give you crazy money for it if Alberto hasn't already Andrew
Now now Andrew, you are starting to sound like the Hunt Brothers. No cornering the market, ya heah? Regards, Alberto PS where's your photo on Dino faces?
I'm just another crazy L-series Dino owner building a car, I think you know the MO. I don't have a pretty face Andrew
I thought all L series owners where really sane, oops...well most. Come on, photo, photo, photo.... Regards, Alberto
