Assuming clear weather, I will stop by on my way down to Claymont for a dyno day.

 

From the forecast description on weather.gov which also says 60%, it seems like the time before 11am is the least likely to experience any precipitation. I find this website to be imperfect, but the most accurate I have found. Here's the link to West Chester's forecast...

As I've said before, when the weather is less than desirable and everyone still wants to get out, my facility is open! I have some pretty cars here too! Let me know, as I will be here any way

Just checked the photos and its great to see Don Butler back!

 

Most of the faithful were there - I had to cut out early for my next engagement. Once the sun came out, it warmed up nicely!

 

Glad to be back with the Elan. Just back home after a long drive with BobC.

 

I like Alex's (almost) new Ferrari; it's even the correct colour: Lotus Carnival Red.

 

Saw this after I started heading for home. Thought you decided to sleep in instead when you weren't at C&C.

PS Why were so many cars parked behind the building instead of the usual spot?

People are parking behind the building now to avoid the regular mall traffic. While I appreciate the the theory, I actually think we are doing a disservice to the mall.

From what I've been told, the vendors really like having our cars there because it drums up traffic. In fact, we are seeing a lot of people who just come by to see the cars like it is some sort of traveling museum. If the customers can't see us, we are not really holding up our share of this unspoken agreement.


Personally, I would like to go back to our old spot, but that's just my .02.

1992 toyota supra turbo

 

It looks like a '91 or '92 Toyota Supra. Great car, why wouldn't it be acceptable at C&C?

I don't know of any car snobs here? Personally, I love an opportunity to see a car I don't know too much about and become educated by the owner.

Its one of my favorite things about C&C.

 

Thanks Joe! Supras are one of my favorite cars and I actually might be getting this one as my first car. I think it would be a great addition to C&C

 

I agree with Joe Z on both points.

I have fond memories of triple digit speeds in a Supra just like that one with the Hoodoo Guru's Mars Needs Guitars blasting. My friend Glen & I would borrow the car from his model girlfriend - that's a whole 'nother story - to rip it up.

I also vote for moving back to the original space for C&C. The dumpsters just don't add much to the aesthetic. If the shopping center has a board or a management group perhaps we could ask them how they feel about us and our location. Joe?
