We know you're pretty busy and content with what you already have...but if you were to, which one of those would like to add to your stable?

I'm more of a Constructer than a Collector these days. There are a few cars I'd still buy but none of these and the ones I'd buy aren't likely to ever come up for sale.

What are some of the cars you want? If a TR GTO SA doesn't interest you, what will?
Maybe an old competition car that's more rare?

That's pretty cool Jim. I think the 410 SA would be pretty cool.
But with what you have has to be hard to find stuff that is as unique.

Would that be a 250 LM NART? I'm not an expert on Ferrari at Le Mans at all. I just know a thing or two on the Prototypes.

just wondering that myself, though the NART 275 LM wasn't a works car, being Chinetti's private team

would that make the last le mans winning Ferrari works car the 275P?

I was quite surprised the other day when I looked up what a 250 SWB costs !

Then again, not a real surprise since IMO it's one of the most beautiful Ferrari's ever designed.

Mr G, do you have sense of why all these offers at this time or is this sort of par for your course?

I doubt that the economy really affects people at that level, but I could be wrong. Maybe the owners are aging? Just curious.

Interesting question and hard to say. My sense it that there are a LOT of big cars being offered and a LOT of classic cars coming to market as well all looking for big prices. More so at higher prices than my sense of it in the past.

Agreed. Of all the auto-related sites/tracks/museums around the world I've visited (Goodwood FOS, Shlumpf, Monterey, Simeone etc) The Petroleum Museum in Midland inspired the most reverence and awe. And easily the biggest urge to jump in any one of them and make VRRROOOM VROOOOOOOOMMMMM noises...
Unless I ever get the chance to stop by your garage of course :)
