Bah, no worries. I can drive it anytime if I REALLY wanted to. 5 mins to get it out, 20 minute drive, 5 mins to get in back into the garage. 30 minute fix for the week. **Remember, it gets quite boring driving around here for more than 20 mins, especially when I am driving alone** I can do it, but I have been extremely busy with cars/work and baby stuff. I have a few more cars to repair, then I will be fine. So another month or so and I will be right to drive it again.
How about this for a plan Pap. You leave the 348 in my shed(I've moved into town BTW),fly over at your leisure(or when you need a break from the rigors of daddyhood),get a renta from Cairns, come and drive the socks off it(I'll follow...from quite a distance I imagine),up and down some of the 4 ranges, get on the piss overnight, then cruise back down to Cairns and then fly back.
That sounds great doesn't it. *I don't know about you following though, I am sure I would have a hard time keeping up with ya. ) Horse (and a few others) offered the same many years ago to garage the car in Brisbane. That sounds like the go as I could participate on track days and rallies etc.etc. In the meantime, I will dream about it. We eventually want to move to SE QLD when these girls are ready for high school. Well, that's Nicole's plan at least.
It's something I can't quite explain, but for many years I have been living immediately adjacent to a well know motor racing track here in the South East. The constant sound of howling race engines, screeching tyres & the boom of unburnt fuel igniting in hot exhausts affects my psche in ways I find difficult to describe. I have a growing problem with the 'red mist' which strikes at the most unexpected of moments, on my postie bike, in the landcruiser, mowing the lawn, even the whipper snipper brings it on; now it even kicks in sitting at the ferking PC? Go figure! I lie in bed at night unable to sleep in the early hours and listen to a symphony of redlining drag racers on the Princes Highway and wonder exactly how it is that I got here? Yours in growing disquiet.

Loved seeing that Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2, they're a beautiful classic. Also, what is the car with the OOC-336 plate? Excuse my ignorance please.
