All jokes aside, what you want is what happens on AE and it works really well there probably due to the fact the membership is small and there is no subscription fee. MHH did/does a fantastic job on moderating the Tassie Weekend thread. Perhaps you should have directed Rob Lay to AE and with the help of MHH he could have seen how it works.

I was going to assume the "in crowd" would of been people that have physically met each other at fchat events during the past few years.

PAP being the reigning Australian mod in Oz would decide the cut.

 

Personally doesn't worry me. I lurk (if you choose to use that term) on many other sections of FChat but don't contribute as I have nothing to say just enjoy reading stuff.

I lurk on AE too and again only post once in a blue moon. I post a lot in the Aussie section because I really enjoy it and get a lot of enjoyment at times.

 

I think that's what we were all hoping for...but, oh well.

its not an in crowd thing.
many of us are sick and tired of lurkers,whom never add to the forum just said there and read others posts,or that cockhead whom caused the issues for me re the photos of car,with a person another member I'd never met which inturn caused issues with the owner of a shop I've had dealings with in the past and whom was dead keen on working on my K3.
its simple a section for those whom post on a regular bases ie 2 or 3 posts a week,I for one will fuick off real quick if its not sorted out real soon.

I think you'll note I haven't voted on this as I really don't give a flying **** about it personally. I'm happy with things how they are. It was obvious very early on that what Greg wanted can't be done on this forum so if drives want to be kept private, do it via e-mail as Horse does with the GG or go to somewhere like AE.

Agree on your comment re photos. Only takes one member with access to copy and then send to a friend saying the good old "don't show anyone this but look at this car" which then goes viral.
