    All,

Due to popular demand, my wife Judi and I are once again organizing a charity
drive very similar to the 4 successful ones previously organized by my soon to
be 19 year old daughter Samantha. Like previous events, we will be taking a
leisurely drive through the back roads of the Somerset Hills area (this is not a
high speed race on interstate highways). As many of you know, Samantha's first
Drive for the Kids in June 2009 was the genesis of Cars & Croissants. Registration instructions at the end of this post.

    Date: Sunday, June 24
(Rain Date: Saturday, June 23 -- we'll make a decison a couple days before if Sunday does not look good weather-wise)

    Starting Location:

    Somerset Hills Learning Institute
    1810 Burnt Mills Road
    Bedminster, NJ

    Time:
    9:30am - 10:30 am -- check-in
    10:30 -- drivers' meeting
    10:45 -- Drive starts
1:00 -- Drive ends and lunch begins

    Lunch: Starts at 1 pm

This time, the lunch will be at Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, NJ which
is one of the most prestigious private golf clubs in the world. Here's a link

    http://www.hamiltonfarmgolfclub.com

Prizes -- We will have prizes in various categories as well as door prizes.
Cost: $100 per person (Note -- per person, not per car)(includes lunch) -- a portion of
    which will be tax deductible

Charity: The beneficiary will be the Somerset Hills Learning Institute, a school
for children with autism. My son, J.P., is a student there, and the school has
made an incredible positive impact on his life as well as that of our whole
    family.

Who should come: The event is open to all sports, exotic and collector cars.

How you can participate: Be a driver, a navigator, a sponsor, place an ad in our
event program or provide goody bag items.

To register and/or become a sponsor, please go to

www.somerset-hills.org. Click on "Drive for the Kids" on the left side of the
    page and then follow instructions.

We already have The Stable, Bloom & Bloom, and New Vernon Coach & Motor Works as
Gold sponsors (each for the 5th straight Drive for the Kids -- thanks!). We're
happy to have others join them. As a sponsor, you will get an ad in our event program, lunch, and the opportunity to place items in our goody bags.

Note that due to logistics, we will limit this event to about 75 cars, and it
will be first-come first served in terms of sign up.

If you have questions, please feel free to pm me.

    Regards,

    Kirk

Unfortunately I'm not available that weekend. I attended this last year and can say for anyone thinking of this, it's a great event (and a great cause!)

ZJPJ- it's a great excuse to go on some nice roads with some other neat cars so you shoudl do it!

Last year a few lambos and some old porsches showed up, mix of ferraris new and old (Dino), 1st generation BMW M6, vintage alfas & mercedes, and old P1800 Volvo, newer shelby mustang, lotuses (is loti the plural?) etc.. No my memory isn't that good- I'm cheating and looking at some pictures I took :)

Great people, drive and day/cause- I'll be out of the state that weekend unfortunately, otherwise I'd be there!
