looks like stock tips, probably has a header and/or de-cat pipe.

Headers and test pipes give that tearing sound. The raspiness at idle also hints of test pipes and headers. Muffler could be anything, stock or aftermarket but definitely not titanium like TiMate as the pitch is not as sharp.

Perhaps...but the raspiness is what I picked up as a hint to some aftermarket upgrades to the exhaust system.

Somebody isn't able to hold a camera still....

I'm guessing it has high flow cats in addition to stock muffler with valves open.

The camera had a really sensitive mic, oversaturated the sound at the end of the clip, perhaps the overall sound was a bit exagerated.

+1 on the camera person....Lol. As per the exhaust it's open valves, my buddies CS has open valves and it's sounds the same :)

Try Capristo level 3 with test pipes...and that is the sound of a breathing exhaust!

Believe me ..sound is not exaggerated. An open valve CS exhaust is " LOUD " , too loud for every day driving for me.

well valve opened is just for low-end, it doesn't change anything at high end.
I am guessing something with the cats too!

Maybe Keissiegg F1 exhaust - the high pitched sound at higher reves sounds like that.

Thats the worst camera work I have ever seen - Im kinda dizzy from it.

I dont have a CS but, I have straight pipes and the Tubi NGT CS exhaust...Its hard to tell what it is because the mic is so distorted, but mine sounds close to it, with a little less "farm tractor". There is one for sale in the posted ads (not mine)...they seem to be pretty rare.

OK ...just for the fun of it I disconnected my valves form my CS spec Spider.

Besides setting off every car alarm in site the open exhaust, while extremely nice at above 6000 RPM, it would be difficult for me to live with on a constant basis.

Car guys look over and give you the thumbs up, nevertheless the rest of the population not so much. I found myself driving very slow around vehicles with elders and children, as I am sure it is beyond annoying.

End result ... great to do once in a while, not a solution for areas with high traffic volume.

Must admit, it was fun setting off the alarms, I'll have to get a video of it

Idle sounds awful to me but it got much better when accelerated.

    Enrique,

This is a hilarious post! I could just see you driving around the Forums shops in Carlsbad setting off car alarms. Women running to grab their children screaming, "Its the end of the world!". And their husbands giving you the thumbs up!

    Cheers,

    DL
ps. good to finally meet you in person!

It sounds like a stock CS set up with the valves left open at all times as other posters said. I have stock headers and cats in my '00 modena but installed the CS muffler (or can if you prefer). When the valves open on my car, it sounds exactly like the car in the video toward the end, both in terms of volume and pitch. At idle, this car sounds much louder than mine (tractor was a good analogy), which I bet is how mine would sound if the valves were left open at low engine speeds/low throttle (the valve opening being a variable of both)
