Humberto - My Father owned this car around 1960 I believe and was the one who changed the engine from the unreliable Mondial 2 Litre to the Monza 3 Litre engine. He won the Macau GP in 1960 driving a Jaguar XKSS beating the Ferrari, driven by Jan Bussell, into third place with the Porsche RS Spyder of Grant Wolfkill second.

375 Indy c/n 01. race #12. driver Alberto Ascari. 1952 Indianapolis 500. DNF. Don't know the other men in photo. Best, Dave
The guy in the white jacket directly above Ascari is Tino Martinolli (sp?), who ended up with a small shop here in SoCal. Is the one on his right Lampredi?
Cox Kocher drove a 521M in two Interserie races, both at Hockenheim. One was the ADAC PreiS, 29/9/74, and the other The Jim Clark Rennen, 13/4/75. Anyway, that maybe another race...

And now something a bit different, or at least from a not from so well-known race. This may be a re-post, though. http://personal.inet.fi/yritys/kuvathistoria/imagesflemari/varikko.JPG Copyright of course with the site owner, whoever he is.
Yep. You're too experienced with these! Some other pics in the link just before the end of the page: http://personal.inet.fi/yritys/merivuokko/flemari.htm
Interesting is that the 250 GT TdF, the Mercedes Gullwing next to it and the Mondial or Monza as well as the 500 TR in another picture have the same colour scheme. Same owner of them all?
Maybe this picture is well known here, but I hadn't seen it before. It is from a 60's fashion website. Image Unavailable, Please Login
