OK thanks Mate, I will do this search but in a few days, because unfortunately, I have to go to my uncle's funeral.

    Stratos,

My 2-post lift (a MaxJax) finally arrived, so I have to determine the appropriate distance between the posts. Your pictures have been very helpful here. WHEN YOU HAVE TIME, could you take a photo of the front lift points again, but this time from directly underneath so I can confirm my locations. The rear seems straightforward but the strong structural panels in the front monocoque are not so obvious. There is also a brake line that is on the left-front corner ofthe tub (my car is a Stradale, as you know).

Suggestions and photos from other Stratos owners will of course be appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    Andres

Barry Meguiar's and his "Car Crazy" crew came over to film the Manila Sports Car Club concours d' elegance. The show came out on U.S. TV, but not here. Fortunately, they posted the episode on YouTube.

The Stratos is featured here briefly, but you might also find Barry's presentation of what the hobby is like here in the Philippines interesting. I hope you enjoy this.

Andres, Thanks for posting a fantastic episode. Stratos looked fabulous, loved the color of the 330 too.

Andres, how did you guys get Barry to come over? That is great... and a lovely bunch of cars too.
Do you know if the Alfa Romeo GTAm is a real one? If so, I would like to get in touch with the owner.
    Thank you.
    Regards, Alberto

Thanks, Andrew, Alberto. I'm glad you like the show. I hope it presents the old car hobby and level of workmanship here in good light. The 330GT though was restored in the US, but almost all the others are local restorations.

Unfortunately, that is not a real GTAm, but it competes regularly in our vintage race series. We've had a real GTA Junior here since new. I love that car.

Helped by advice received here, for which I am grateful, I finally tried the Stratos on the new lift. I used thick rubber pads to isolate brake lines in the LF corner and keep these from being crushed and a similar pad under the RF corner to bring it to same lift height. The car went up easily, and I could bring it up to the full lift height in spite of my low ceiling. The rear lift points, as in our Dinos, seem too far forward, but the car seems stable on them.

It’s quite a pleasure to be able to lift the car when working on it.

    Best,

    Andres

I've got a pair of the same magnesium 9x15 rear wheels and 270 TB15 tyres for sale at the moment. Only 320 miles from new.
In fact the whole car will be for sale soon. (Hawk rep.)

Easy one, modern Alfa V6 injected, with gearbox on the side (front wheel drive).

    No, it isn't an Alfa.

I'm sure any second guess will be correct.

    Congratulations and good luck.
I've had an owners manual for a Daytona for decades. I check for spontaneous generation daily. ;)

Funny, I have one for an Islero and it also hasn't spontaneously sprouted an Islero in my garage. If anyone finds the secret formula, please do share.

Be careful because there are recent reprints around. Don't let some wise guy push them as originals.
