    Clifford sure was fighting Alonso the entire time, it looked like such a handful to drive. Massa was being typical Massa and put the Ferrari more where it belongs down in 12th. Vettel looked like he was out for a nice calm Sunday drive while going 2nd fastest. Its looking like he will be able to win this one if he continues to do what he does best, qualifying 1st and running away past the DRS time limit and just staying out of reach the whole race.

    Interesting fins on top of the McLaren sidepods, must be for directing the airflow over the exhaust.

    Also notice the bar on top of the chassis in front of the driver, I believe it is to test how well the drivers can see out of the car for next years chassis. I think I heard Whitmarsh say thats how high the next years chassis will be and they wanted to see how well the field of view would be for the drivers.

    Yeah it was fairly uneventful but FP1 usually isn't exciting unless theres rain.

    True. Barcelona being a testing venue leads to even less running also.
