Copper Canyon Car show

This event starts on Saturday, May 12th at 10am and goes throughout the day. It will be every Saturday. We are reaching out to the Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Lotus, Corvette, Viper, Ford GT, Muscle Car, Tuner, and every other car owner who wishes to participate. It is a free show, and we will be having raffles for prizes and rides in cars for those who wish to participate. The raffle money will be donated to Grace Care Center, a girls orphanage in Sri Lanka caring for 45 girls ages 6-16.

Because of this event, there will also be specials on food and drinks.

Copper Canyon is located near the intersection of I-696 and Telegraph road at 27522 Northwestern Highway, Southfield. For more information please contact Steve Brandemuehl at [email protected].

I am in the same boat as Vince. There were 5 on the calendar that I wanted to attend. I will be lucky to get 2 in. Hopefully this one works out. I will try to be at the other ones if it takes off.

 

I am glad I looked at this thread, I have some time in the morning and this would be a great way to spend it (before driving to grand rapids so my friend can hopefully fix my computer, remember to back up your files!) Luckily I just did last week.

 

Hey...do they have a Log Flume ride at Copper Canyon??? Might be a hot day, so I just need to know if I should wear my trunks.

 

Cauley is having their annual open house tomorrow at 10 AM as well

 

No reason why you couldn't swing by after that then, they're not terribly far apart.

I was planning to make the Cauley open house tomorrow around 11. Given that CC is just a few miles away I'll try to make that around 10 and stay for an hour. Hopefully I'll see some of you there. Not sure if I'm going to make the drive out to Fenton though. Looks like it might be raining by then.

Not any of the heavy rain. There may be some later, but it looks like most of it will be to the north. Not likely until after 12:30 is my estimate.

For a first effort, the guys hit it out of the park!

GREAT selection of cars, and a fun loving crowd really made the kickoff a special occasion.
We tried to addict a few more people to boost (not 'huffing' which is technically negative air pressure and is Bad M'Kay.......ohnevermind ;^)

I'm going to be in town this weekend. Should I aim to make it to this show or Autozone on Saturday?

 

How about hitting both?

Autozone early on, then Copper Canyon after that for lunch, etc.
