First off, it's not a Maserati 2-door sportscar. That aside, they used good bits to build a rather nice looking car, should be a bag of fun with very little weight and a live rear-end. Real Borrani's? Wow. As long it doesn't cost real Maserati money, I quite like it.
To me, as long as it can be licensed for street use, it looks like a fun ride. Not a "Maserati". But what do you call it then?

Yes it looks that way now but I think it looked different when I saw it in the late 1980's. I have photos but they're in storage now.
