    Have a look at this.

    Fuel Rail - http://www.eurospares.co.uk/parttablePopup4.asp?ID=1539667

Ever since I picked up my car I've had a problem with this. Specifically, the bottom leftmost metal piece that does the big hook around the rear of the engine off of the right rear DCOE. It was leaking from a crack in the original braze when I was having it shipped back from San Diego and it got repaired there at that time. But that didn't hold and it got "repaired" yet again before re-plating. Well it's leaking once again and before this becomes a disaster I just want the GD fitting out of there.

I have to wonder if the long nature of this thing doesn't end up causing a too heavy leverage effect that just exacerbates this problem?
It could use a support bracket affixed to the rear of that DCOE I suppose, but for this fitting it's too late for me to be comfortable with it ever again.

    1. So has anyone recently (last 5 years) ordered part # 36 (manifold) from Lamborghini? A picture would be terrific!

    2. Or ... does anyone have one of the center Tee fittings pictured (there are 2 of them) lying around that would at least match the other two in my manifold?

I know there are others available in the market place but I don't want to create a complete hodgepodge looking affair. That way I could just make the bend with hose and add a second support for that hose thus eliminating any potential leverage effect forever.

    Thanks.

Number thirty six points to what looks like braided line?
The solid corner pieces are I inaccurately represented in this drawing as well . Yes I know it's the factory drawing but no surprise there either?

If your looking for these or the accurate braided hose With correct crimp or a rebuild of the assembly, talk to George evans in Ohio . I sent him mine and you will see the result in pocono soon.

#36 is the entire manifold assembly with braided hose crimped onto the fittings. At a minimum I need a fitting as I described. But I might just buy the entire assembly.

One of my fittings is no longer usable. The one I described.

    Looking forward to seeing your.

I was hoping to have my car there but two things need to be fixed. I may use a temp fitting that doesn't match the others.

What is failing on the fitting - the solder joint? Or is the tube suffering fatigue?
Maybe the second repair was not done properly - contamination in the joint, etc.

The originals appear to be furnace brazed with some type of copper solder. IMO a good silver solder on a clean joint will cure it. I did the fittings for out CT this way, and Tony Ierardi plated and installed the lines for us.

maybe try these guys for fittings?

    Thanks for replying.

Yeah it's at least the joint. It's been silver soldered at least twice that I know of and I think someone had at it when the PO still had the car. But I also think that long leverage effect makes the banjo bolt and washer loosen up as well. I'm not a real big fan of these banjo fittings & paper washers but I'm trying very hard to keep the car looking authentic.

I'm just no longer willing to use that fitting. I envision a future of flames.

    I don't blame you ;)

Fortunately there's plenty of -AN fittings out there to choose from, and stock appearing hoses too. Pierce Manifolds is also a good source for multiple weber applications.

Well, Lambostuff says item 36 on that parts page is indeed NLA.

I imagine that Eurospares will have the same story.

    Crap.

Have you called any dealers in the US? Midwest Auto Group has been able to get quite a few small parts within the last year or two. They may have access to the same database as Eurospares, but their prices were better.

We did get the hose #36 hose assembly - maybe 5 years ago it was still stocked - but it was pretty comical. Rubber hoses with those little band style crimp connectors, and all the banjo fittings were a cheap looking dirty yellow cad.

The only piece we ended up using was the long metal line.

Well I have sourced a used version which means a set of used fittings.

    $500.

Now I think maybe I can make the one fitting for that!
