If it is not too much trouble, can someone go by Straightline and look at this car? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270976016556&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 The car is overpriced on fleabay (so what else is new?). But, a C55 is one rock 'n' roll animal. All I'm interested in is just a look to see if it appears okay. I have learned not to trust pictures on Ebay. Thx, Dale
Always. BTW, a C55 is one kick butt car. I used to own one. Dale PS But this has nuthin to do with my super secret mission that I'll let you, the great unwashed, in on some day. But here's a clue for you all -- it has to do with sports car racing. Oh, and, uh, just to let you know, Paul is dead.
I don't get it... What does one of those go for usually? $26k seems average to low for a real AMG road-monster. Do you still have the Cayman S?
Can anyone take a peek? This might be my old car. And sorry Frances, I have had it with black cars. Been there, done that, ain't gonna do it no mo. Dale
A C55 is one hellva pocket rocket. It can easily give F360s and F430s a run for their money. Don't ask how I know this. Whoever first came up with the V8 design had no idea what he was creating. Dale Oh, I turned the Cayman back it. Loved it. Seriously, it was one of the best sports cars I have ever driven. But it was a waste driving it back and forth to Naca-no-way. I now use a LS 460 for that. But I did turn it back in with just a shade under 45,000 miles.
