The Ariel Atom belongs to a friend of mine - hopefully he will come on more runs, and make it to the track! it has a Honda 4 cylinder with a supercharger on it, and weighs about 1,600lbs. It pretty much goes like a slot car....

It's the Mansory 458 Italia Spider Monaco edition.
    http://www.motorward.com/2012/05/ferrari-458-spider-monaco-edition-by-mansory/

I'll agree with Italiani - The seats need to go, and they need to get a real upholsterer in their shop, not a pre-fab seat cover installer.

I've figured it out - Lewis Carroll was the designer for the interior. The queen is not going to be happy with her missing cards! So maybe it was heroin and not LSD that inspired those patterns.

I know it's already been identified but I rather like calling it the EnzItalia instead. Or ItalEnzo? The nose is very Enzo-like and blends well with the rest of the 458 spider body. So maybe it's an EnzIder? SpidEnzo? Love the comment about the Lewis Carroll Queen and drugs - harkens back to the Jefferson Airplane and White Rabbit!

Asalam Alykom ! or Assalamu alaikum ! (sp?)

The Coppola event looked fantastic. Thanks for the photos SV !

We're here for three weeks of ship overhaulin' and I had my first chance to hit pavement yesterday. Headed for the Ferrari dealership in Manama as they coordinate the Ferrari Owners Club in Bahrain.

I met up with Majeed Al-Sadiq - the Brand Manager who started the FOC here. He told me most of the "locals" were on a Top Gear Top Roads of Europe road trip.... Majeed is most passionate about Ferrari and the lifestyle.

    Speaking of white rabbits....
The Maserati is a special "Mid East Gulf" edition - 1 of 12 made - this one for Bahrain - price - @ $119k and apparently no import fees for US customers.... The paint is a flat white.

Senor Pacos was recommended for dinner, so had to check it out.

    "on the hard' next week....

Didn't he mean Charles Lutwidge Dodgson and mercury poisoning instead of Lewis Carroll and heroin or LSD? Curiouser and curiouser. :)
