    OK guys, here we have three beautiful Ferrari grey colours (non red!). Which one is your choice for a nice, classy, brand new 458 Spider?

    Grigio Ferro is the best, IMO, but the most expensive.
    Silverstone is a classy color but it looks dull at night and when there is not enough light.
    Titanio shows every curve and design detail of the 458 which has many. Therefore I would choose grigio titanio.

    Actually, I ordered mine 458 italia in this color ;)

    I personally find Titanio too light and Silverstone too dark... my choice is Ferro.

    I don't know if I've ever seen Ferro. Silverstone is nice (and conservative) but a bit dull.

    Can anyone post pics of Ferro?

    I too have gone for Grigio T on my Spider having had Silvstone on the California which suited it perfectly, IMHO.

    Here are pictures of my Titanio with Cuoio interior and split dash colours. I used the carbon as the divider between the black upper half and the Cuoio lower part. To me the carbon gets lost if it's all black. There are some more pictures in that thread also.

    I saw it come off the production line last week.

    Different strokes..... Grigio Silverstone has variegated tones which are very complex and rich looking, highlighted by an abundance of metal for an appearance that says "high tech." On the lighter side I like "none of the above:" Grigio Medio, which is just beautiful.

    IIRC, both Silverstone and Ferro are about the same in darkness but Ferro is "warmer" with some brownish tint to it. Titanio is much lighter in color, about 1/2 way between Argento and Silverstone. As all are metallics, they all look good IMHO on 458s, as they bring out the curves and lines very well, more so than a solid color like Rosso Corsa.

    Ferro is lighter than Silverstone. The darker colour you are referring to with the slight brownish tint to it is Canna De Fucile.

    Here are Silverstone, Canna De Fuile and Grigio Ferro for comparison.

    Wow, I'm loving this thread! Nothing better that a nice discussion about metallic greys with examples! :)

    Titanio has always been a favorite until I recently knew Ferro existed and saw great examples. A bit darker and less metallic than Titanio, Ferro for me is probably the nicest or coolest right now, but the extra cost is crazy. I guess it does make a difference and many would stick with Titanio which is still great.

    Silverstone is nice in strong sunlight but too dark for my taste in low lighting.

    And here is my little contribution. As it was discussed in previous threads, I think these two are both Grigio Ferro:
