When I was filling up at Chevron, I was wondering why this red loud "Pantera" driving by was honking at me. :) When you hear unseen hoofbeats you are supposed to think horse, not zebra. Zebra, thy name is "Jalpa". :)

The projected difference is 7 hp....an unfair advantage, catch them looking at the stylin' bits, then get them with the scud factor.....

Yow! Is driver OK? The approach to the Corkscrew is very scary. It is uphill and a blind approach, so you car gets light and you can't see anything on the other side. You have to mind your speed and try to use landmarks and lane position to get lined up right. As soon as you get to the top where the apex is, the track falls away about 5 stories in height as it goes left-right (T8, T8a), then into a fast sweeper to the left (T9) as you continue to descend. Get the Corkscrew right, and you can carry too much speed but have little room to get settled before entering T9.

Difficult to tell from the pic but the Jalpa's front bumper is V-shaped. Ferrari and Lamborgini must have raided the same parts bin because the Jalpa looked like it had the same front parking lights, windshield wipers and side mirrors as a Euro 308. I think the Jalpa's front resembles that of a Supra Mark II. Perhaps Sledge could shoehorn a Supra turbo engine in the front also. :)

The 308's parking/turn signal lights were used on the Countach as well. Actually the Countach was introduced first, right? So really the 308 must have borrowed the Countach's lights.

Yes, the Countach being introduced in 74 and the 308 in 75. I saw a pic of a later US Model Countach (prototype?) that used the same 4 round Carello tail lights as the 308!

The Countach has a much less spacious interior than the Jalpa so in order to fit into one requires the removal, not addition, of the aforementioned gamete producing organs. :(

    Take 2....
    Greetings all !
I got inspired by the detail photos of Kourosh's ride and others and decided it was time to get my other daily driver detailed.

Wanted to have some fun, so here are some details of the detailing.

Dr I.... you know a few of these trouble spots....

Yea but there won't be any marine growth, and that's good for 1.5% fuel savings!
