Ok here is my problem. Several years ago we got a Fuji camera. We installed the finepix viewer. The finepix viewer is a pos! We should have just down loaded the pics manually. I want to be able to work with the pics but not use the finepix viewer. I have found where the folder is located. When I click on it is says this folder is empty. When I right click and select properties it says there are 5022 files and 16.6GB. For some reason the pictures are in the folder but I don't know how to get to them. Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is a very frustrating situation. Thanks!

i have one of those somewhere, fuji finepix
have you connected it (or plugged in memory card) to your computer to extract? ...if so try this route, go to your 'start' then 'computer' then 'removable device' (or what ever it's listed as)
in there you can 'ctrl + A' to select them all and copy into a file folder (which you need to create first) in your computer, or just drag them into your 'pictures' folder

The pics should be under a folder called DCIM on the card. Just drag that over to desktop(or wherever you want to save them)

Right click on the folder in question. All the way at the bottom of that dialog box is the Properties option. Click that and go to the General tab. At the bottom of that dialog box is a section named Attributes. Does the box for Hidden have a checkmark in it? If so, uncheck it.

    Yes, this is the fix.

After you have made the files visible, you need to change the settings so that files of this type are not associated with finepix viewer any longer. Associate them with whatever program you want to use instead, such as Windows viewer, Photoshop, Picasa, etc.

To do this, right click on any picture file, and from the dropdown menu, choose Open With... Then select the program you want.

I tried the abouve suggestion and it did not work. After some playing around I went to the control panel, folder options, view, and then selected the show hidden files and folders option.
