Weather was nice this morning so I washed her very well, blown with air all the water trapped in the recessed area. Did all the tires with tire shine. She was a beauty. My girlfriend wanted to go shopping for her summer clothes so we left for Rouyn-Noranda about 55 miles south of where I live. On our way we hit some rain and the road was all wet. All that cleaning for nothing :-( By chance the top was not down yet. It stopped after a short time, just enough to get the car dirty. As soon as we arrived in R-N the sun was high and nice so the top went down. The car is really fun with the open top. There is not much draft from the back compared with my other convertible I had. After the shopping we came back home all the way with the top down and it was a real nice drive. Only problem is a gas smell. I'll have to look at this because we smell hit when driving top down. Here are my first pictures of the car in Rouyn-Noranda in front of lake Osisko.

Thanks Hank! I never realized they were not all the same. You have an eagle eye. I checked on the tires but they are symetric. I'll change them. Thanks.

I'm guessing, but since the OP said something about the tires and symetrics and if my eyes see what Hank was seeing, I believe the rear wheel is mounted incorrectly, or facing the wrong direction..

LOL - Fronts are wrong if drives in reverse. Rears are wrong if he drives forward. If he doesn't drive in either direction, he can turn them inside out or remove the wheels altogether. :):)

Yes, I do the 5 & 6 speed necklaces made to order in choice of both metal & gem stones. I also do a Sterling Silver cuff link that I think is quite cool - - if I say so myself :) PM me as to your thoughts and questions.

    Cheers, Hank

Your car looks absolutely fantastic. The color suits it very well. What an attractive vehicle!

Some day I may pick up a set of those 348 wheels when there is nothing left to spend money on for my car. My car originally had the 355 wheels and that didn't work for me, but the 348s seem to hold their own and aren't too age different.

Good eye Hank. I think you are correct, the rear wheels probably got swapped while doing the last tire rotation. I've made tire directional mistakes in the past, its easy to do if you get distracted. Also check to see if the tire threads are facing the right way as mounted on the rims.

I only need to swap the rear wheels from left to right. The tires are NOT directionnal by chance. I checked for that when I installed them. But never realized the wheels were.

Hank was nice enough to let me know by PM. But I don't mind to share what I learn.

I can't remember who but when I first bought the car someone on the chat asked me to post pictures of the car in front of lake Abitibi where I live. So here are pictures of today at my cousin's cottage at very far east of Lake Abitibi(Palmarolle,Qc). This lake is large, something like 90 miles long with LOTS and LOTS of islands. You can easily get lost on that lake if you don't know it.
P.S. The rear wheels are still the wrong way. ;-)

Hank is good people, he is the fabric of the Mondial forum and he is what makes it as close knit as it is.

Hank, send me a PayPal invoice for one 18k 5 speed necklace. I would be honored to own one

Ted, thanks so much for the very kind words. There's this nice warm feeling around the left side of my chest :):)

Send me a PM with your ph # and when I can call you regarding the necklace. I first need to know exactly what you would want. I'll get current market prices and then give you a quote that must be approved by you before we start.
