I think I could recite just about every line from that movie.
Speaking of old school movies I watched Body of Evidence this weekend with Madonna and Willem Dafoe pretty steamy!

    Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

Light on plot, but superb acting and a visual treat.

BTW, in the Dictator, the speech he gives on democracy at the end was genius!

"Who wants horrible democracy, what a horrible concept. I would much rather have a dictatorship...where everybody works to keep the 1% happy and rich, where, if you take huge gambles and lose everything, the government will bail you out, where you and a few powerful cronies control politics, the economy, where you can start wars under false pretenses to get oil, where you can keep minority races in jail, where you can steal votes and rig elections, etc., etc."

    Hilarious and very clever.

Battleship, loved it. If you want to have fun and not get serious. Thought the effects were pretty good. The alien shells were like the pegs in the Battleship Game along with the board that had a grid pattern using NOAH bouies, thought that was pretty ingenious. All I can say is that I was entertained. I guess that makes me not one of the elitists, LOL.

Dark Shadows. Typical Tim Burton movie. Excellent stuff from Mr. Depp.

Avengers. Thought it was somewhere between ok and good; seemed like they tried to do too much with the characters/storyline.

Mrs. Nut saw Battleship and said it was much better than Avengers.

Rampart. I expected more. Bad Lieutenant and Training Day were much better but woody is always great to watch.

Dark Shadows. Pretty good movie but my college-age daughter didn't get most of the jokes. I would go to a sequel only because I like Burton/Depp humor.

    I agree with Mrs. Nut.

Battleship takes a little while to get moving, but once it does, it's not bad.

    I didn't care for Avengers.

Finally caught Moneyball last night. Entertaining though not as interesting as the book.

Mrs. Nut and the critters are catching a midnight showing of MIB 3 right about now; hopefully I won't have to bail them out of jail for fighting rowdy teenagers. :D

Wasn't expecting much, but it was good, it moved really slow but the story kept me captivated.

I have heard that it is a decent movie and for me anything with Clooney is worth a watch.

Rewatched 'Inglourious Basterds' lastnight, man I really like that movie.

Saw "The Raid: Redemption" the other night. If you like action / martial arts movies you're in for a treat. Welsh director, Indonesian cast. One of the most violent movies I've seen in a long time. There were people, women and couples mainly, getting up and walking out because they couldn't take it. Can't remember the last time I saw that happen.

The Hollywood remake is already in production.

I'm so looking forward to Prometheus.

Something like 30 years later we might finally find out from the master himself what the story of the astronomer in the Nostromo was.

I can't wait. Rarely before have I anticipated a movie as much as this one.

Fassbender is quickly becoming one of my favoriite actors. He has a certain charisma that many movie stars sorely lack. I loved his smaller part in Inglorious Basterds and was by far the best part of X-Men First Class.

Watched Full Metal Jacket tonight. If you haven't seen it, it is one of those movies you need to watch some time. It is almost a movie you could use as a test for someone. People may not like it for whatever reason (the profanity, the gore, the war, etc), but everyone should have an opinion about it. If someone were to say "yeah I saw that one, it was just OK I kind of like...didn't get it...kinda like soooo boring", you know you are dealing with a dullard if they are older than 12.

Oh yeah. This guy is definitely going to be breaking a couple of the "Three Laws". haha

If you haven't seen Shame or Hunger put them on your Netflix. He's excellent in both.

Huge Kubrick fan. I've seen every movie he's ever made and FMJ is one of my favorites. Some people just don't "get" Kubrick. I stopped trying to explain or sell those people on him a long time ago.

Chronicle - I really enjoyed it but getting tired of the realty / documentary camera style appearing in most films now.

I love the series and this was a great addition!

There are some really cheesy things though, you'll know when it happens as you'll laugh your ass off at it! :D
