Hoping for Tagliani and Hinchcliffe. I wonder if Alesi will make it past a few laps. Record heat at Indy.

Go Hinch and Josef! Rubens, too.

Alas, Alesi and Simona do not have the juice to keep up and were black-flagged.

    Cheever's pretty informative...

I tried watching this ****, up until lap 61*. People complain F1 is boring. F me, how do people manage to sit through this?!

*about 20 laps all in, forgot to say, it was on ESPN so I learned more about basketball and the stanley cup then anything about the race

Nasty accident between Power and Mike Conway. Conway's car broke away and collected Power. Conway drove into his pit crew a few laps before. Apparently broke his wing after nailing his fuel man and Foyt's team never replaced it.

I have it on, and it's very boring.

I don't find Indy very exciting, but this race seems exceptionally lacking in any excitement.

Just had an accident, and Castroneva barely escapes getting hit by an out of control tire.

They sure are doing a great job at hyping the accident. Yea, it was pretty bad, but it was far from horrific.

Ganassi and Penske cars slowly moving in on Marco lap 83. Sato-san in 4th! Hondas with better mpg.

I see Danica is still selling her rump even though she's moved to Nascar.

With out a doubt, the most boring race in the world. Always has been.

...oh and by the way, it's not a race if you don't downshift and steer to the right at least once.

So other than when on pit road or a full caution driving pace with lap speeds well over 200 mph is nothing? Go try and do a 35 lapper at your local short track where you are always in traffic . It will change your mind on oval racing , trust me!

Because the race has changed. It simply is not the Indy 500 as we knew it. It is now .."spec" racing. Indy was never that until a few years ago.

30 of the most boring lead change passes. The new cars are all too similar.

If I hear one more Indy 500 where they mention the "Andretti curse" I'm going to shoot myself.

I got Ron's best seat in the house ticket but had issues with my 89 yr. old parents over the past few days. But it is being well used. My buddy Scott worked Indy Lights and Alantics teams for 25 yrs. He did Indy with some backmarkers in the early 90's and a wining Indy Lights team a few years later. I gave him the ticket. He can put a thermostat in the BMW for me next week. He has been texting me like a little kid. Says it's the best race experience ever.

Marco out. This is a shootout from here. Go Sato or Rubens.

These bunched up restarts look TERRIBLY dangerous, hope they make it through again this time.

Only worth watching the last ten laps or so and the highlights of how they got to that point.

One or two passes is not racing.

That is just the kid's game, "Follow the Leader" ...... albeit faster, it's all relative.

I would've liked to see Sato win it.

How did Franchitti not spin at the end. He was so far to the wall.

    Chip Ganassi is a genius.

Not really. He made it tight but there was room for Sato to go through. If he really squeezed him, they would have touched.

There are not showing any replays...

    Wonder way.

I think they touched rear wheels and Franchitti didn't give him any room.

Sato-san had the race, he was the only one who could stay with the leaders. A shame he didn't wait for the straight.
