800bhp would purely serve as bragging rights. Cmon, how much of that do you really get to use? The GTR in factory form is already blazing quick. It's senseless. Fresh off my iPhone via Tapatalk
Well, bragging rights for some I guess..lol For me it's would be for Drag racing and its quite a good track car too! Just very expensive to use it as a track demon! Atleast to me. There was a Brunei car that was brought to Singapore for mods and tuning and it was around 1500 bhp or something along that number! Maybe Harold can provide the numbers as he might know the workshop
My car is 600bhp on wheels and it's street worthy! I can boost it up to 800bhp on race fuel but can't afford the fuel on a daily basis
The only thing I would change in a GTR is the exhaust. Sounds too soft to my liking. Came across a military themed GTR in Malaysia with custom made exhaust, no branded exhaust is even close to the sound it produced.
To be honest, I saw a Spyker on the road in UK outside my hotel. Didn't get wow by it, unlike the Mac F1 which was so impressive and lovely. I would much prefer a Zonda which has grown on me. When I first saw it though, I thought it looked more like a squashed ant. Now I'll like to think of it as more like a group C racer .
Not to mention only 24 points on the license. Drive within the speed limits daily = mega frustration. But all you need is to floor it for a few seconds and lose the license. That's why Malaysia boleh!
I think OSG made a good choice of the 288 and the F50. I actually like the F50 and it could be another overlooked car. You know what the car world is like, full of fads. One moment unloved but all you need is some aclaimed connoisseur to speak in favour + a few famous collectors and before you know it, the car is worth a few times more.
Bro, unfortunately the sound comes with rpm which also comes with the speed. And you know what that means here in SG, the anxious wait for 2 whole weeks for that fateful letter from TP . Happens to me all the time hence I don't quite enjoy local drives unlike you know where.
hahaha! sounds like more gam-jiong then waiting for baby delivery was reading an article earlier by Harry Metcalfe? It'll be really good if we can have 3.0 V12 that revs to 12K rpm
And a real beauty! BTW bro, I am in town till next monday so you can call me regarding you know what . And guys, just in case you have any doubts, me and Jon are not gay ... well not yet

Yup, quite a few and are drivable daily for sure. It's when u get above 1000bhp that the GTR gets grumpy. But still can be used. ST Powered and MB are the two best workshops pumping the mega HP GTRs.
Not claimed mate... Definitely still drivable. And a GTR on 800bhp is like any other car on 1000hp... The drive train gets the power down so ridiculously efficiently it will leave everything else on the north south highway for dead. Recently went up with a mate in his GTR tuned to only 680bhp (same tune and mods I had on mine). Killed the Lambos, 458 as if we were just crawling. Never mess with a GTR for acceleration or speed in a straight line... Wait the laps on sepang for their tires to overheat and brakes to fade and they become an easy meal in the brake zone and round corners.... But no chance over two laps or on a straight outright drag or in gear run.
Only one weak point on the GTR, the gear box. But SGD30k fully rebuilt and reinforced gearbox and the car is bullet proof. Engine is not an issue at all when modded correctly by the right guys, but it gets lumpy at idle and big turbo lag in the 1000bhp and above cars. There is one red one that you may see from time to time in Singapore with Malaysian plates... Above 1000bhp and driven between Malausia and Singapore regularly... Unbelievable when the boost kicks in and the drive train of the GTR handles the turbo lag so well the car just doesn't lose it. Amazing. Makes every other car I have sat in feel seriously slow by comparison. You need other worldly skill to keep up with the response time needed in that thing... That's what will fail before the car!
