Anyone planning to attend? I'm taking Monday the 4th off and plan to take Enzo for my birthday hopefully avoiding the huge crowds. Kids under 5 free!

I'll be there on Saturday for the opening festivities. It should be a large turnout and will be exciting to see the museum open for the public.

Don't plan to attend until the fuss dies down.

Sorry... I didn't do the "+" thing correctly - actual words introduce ambiguity :p:p:p :D:D

Isn't the (former) Kirkland Concours to be held there this year too? Cheers.

This sounds really cool but I will wait the crowds to die down before I go as well.

Exciting news for sure. But, I've been to the LeMay open house a few times as well as gotten a private tour of the collection so I don't feel the need to fight the crowds on opening day. Like the others, I'll still go but probably not until the crowds die down in a few months or so. For those who haven't seen any part of the collection, it's absolutely amazing. After all, where else can you see a Tucker Torpedo or a Stanley Steamer?

It is too bad that they are charging for kids. When I was small Dad took me everywhere for free and that is how I got the bug. Now asking my son if we should spend $8 for him to look at cars or $8 to watch Avengers again...

Oh well, I will force him to look at cars :)

So I took Enzo to the museum on Monday for my birthday boys out adventure. Pretty well done. We arrived around 10am with no crowd only to see a partial crowd gathered at the lobby upon our departure at 12:30. I nearly wet myself when I saw the "Ferrari in America" exhibit. Did not expect it and some cherished pieces on display from owners. I hear the cars will rotate so if you want to see these specific cars get your butt over there.
