A brief update. Sent emails to the seller, but no replies. So, I did some research and realize it was listed on AutoTrader for $199K. Called the number listed, and spoke to the seller who told me that the car was sold for $190K. So whoever bought for $190K less than a month ago, decided to list on Ebay for $169K with no reserve and also decided not to reply emails to potential buyer!

A listing with 0 feedback is suspect for a high ticket item like this...

    Indeed.

Wouldn't trust the seller in this case, though. Seems to be too much mismatch on the details + 0 eBay feedback.

    Nice car though. :)

Latest update. Received this email from the "seller". I bet if I offer $1,600 he would take it, provided that I wire the money to him.

"I have attached more pics with my 599 FTB. As you see the Ferrari is in perfect working condition. I am willing sell the Ferrari for $160,000 if you have the funds available. Because I am out of the country I can have the car shipped directly to you. As well I am willing to give you the opportunity to drive and verify the vehicle in person together with all the original documents including service records, title etc.

Everything will be done through eBay Motors since I paid all their fees. If you need more details just let me know.

    Yours,
    Robert Methven"

Seems fishy. DON'T WIRE ANY MONEY unless you are 100%. Anyone can steal pics and a vin then re-list. Just be sure it is legit.

Maybe it stating the reality of the times.

Its a 2008 with 13K miles, so it 4 years old and prior to the GTO and with the new F12 coming out so its not so crazy. The market is certainly getting softer.

    Think about it.

"Seller" is a fraud! Has nothing to do with the value with the car.
