You know there's a lot of Smokey's around when it even melts a radar detector.

Where was it located, over the muffler system?

It was about 5" from the muffler on the passenger side. Tofay I will remove the 1 from the front. The unit in the car came off with no issues. Just the miles if wire to remove as well. I am also going to look at the 90 EQ unit as well.

Holy crap Barry. They delivered your car in a cargo trailer? I would have sh@& myelf when those doors opened and saw those crates strapped right to the roof above the car. Glad it made it safe and sound. Looking forward to seeing it. Maybe next weekend. Congrats.

It was ok, they had a moving blanket over the front of the car and windshield. It would of stopped that giant crate no problem. :)

Car looks great congrats again. However, That is a crazy shipping method! Glad it made it ok. Last time I saw this type of shipping a classic vette ended up humping an expensive Austin Healey! No joke!

    Thanks Vasco!
They also had some 2x4s tacked to the floor behind the rear tires so the car would not roll out the back.
There were also straps from all 4 wheels ancored to the trailer as well. It was very well tied down and kept clean and dry.

Ya I can't wait to get a group together. On a lighter note, Larini pipes are on the way and I can't wait to hear her purrr when they're on. Decided to upgrade the clutch software with a DBW bypass as well. Should be good to go by the time we get out. Nice and loud.

Fun trip yesterday guys. As suspected Cam quickly showed me in fact how slow my car is. Haha. I might as well have been driving a VW bug. Yikes. I need to do some mods.

Nice thing is, with your car, for about fifty bucks, you end up at about a bazillion HP, whereas for most everyone else here, for about a bazillion bucks, you end up with about fifty HP, LOL.

How many showed up for the cruise? Where did you guys go?? I actually had a great time in Saskatoon at Mary's Salsa Congress. Wow - those Salsa dancers are amazing - I thought I was in reasonable shape..... jeeeeeeez......

Would have rather been cruising, however. :D :D :D

Yes but my car with 600 HP is stupid scary and uncontrollable...lol.

Cam, Darren and Morgan were out. Oh ya.. the 308 came for the ride out to Lumsden but continued on to Regina Beach. Had a good time but I forgot sunscreen and got FRIED. Bought some sunscreen in Lumsden but it was too late. Damage was done and I am hurtin today. lol.. Stupid. Tried out my new Go Pro on the way home. Works well but I had mounted above the window and it was pretty shaky. Need to find a better place to mount it. I do have video evidence though of Cam's ass end pulling away from me rather quickly...LOL.. Wont post it on the net though. If nobody sees it never happened... :):):D:D:D

With limited time off from my company, I forced myself to take a weekend off. I booked a last minute flight to vegas for saturday morning to return sunday night. I figured id treat my self to rent a Gallardo spyder for half the day saturday.

It was a 2008, E - Gear, with 70,000 miles, which felt to be hard miles. The brakes were so faded and had a dirty shake to them, the e gear system felt like it was going to grenade any second aswell and the tranny was going to be falling out. But enough complaining, the car itself overall was still good to experience since soon Id like to buy one for myself. When that v10 opened up, the intoxicating sound put a smile on my face ear to ear! I wish my first time driving a bull was perhaps in a better example, but all in all I had a great time with it. It was 107 degrees so needless to say I died with the top down ha.

Here she is, just some crappy blackberry photos.
