Yes, bro. CS was one of those must have for me & had a close shave of owning it back in 06 but we know in Sgp, all cars depreciate badly for owners :(

Strangely, as mentioned. Dealers in UK are actually enjoying brisk business now exporting to France, Australia, Japan, here, Malaysia, HK, Thailand & Switzerland! All due to currency favours & we're seeing Greek cars coming out while US has been flooding the market with LHDs. Auctions have also been topping records which worries me but analysts are saying buyers are now driven by passion, paying cash rather than speculation & easy credit in 89/90. Do you trust analysts? :)

I won't say that so soon. It's got to do with the Bo scandal case in China. Only the chinese and arabs are capable of paying such ridiculous sums of money for a celebrity puxxy. It's under investigation and more to come.

There is probably a good reason why their job title starts with a very interesting 4 letters :D. Just kiddin' but often, they are driven by the herd and only a select few have foresight and dare to go against consensus. Talking about those in the investment world but probably same for the car world.

He got a Scud?! Nice :)

Don't think I'll be around unless I join the car gatherings in Sepang by the organiser. Where r u guys going to park over there? If you guys join the gathering, I might convoy together as they provide 2x grandstand ticks each & free parking in closed area.

No idea bout parking mate. We going to just use paddock pass. Not joining the gathering itself as don't know much about it.

Yeah, now two Fs in his garage, the cali and the scud. Talk about infatuated with a particular marque

Oh is it in Sepang too? I'm there for a Lotus training @ the carpark & by the looks of it, I need to get a racing license soon :( hate going to schools & don't like circuit racing but well, need to get the proper things done.

Looking forward to do LeMans Classic, if I can make it this year or it'll be 2014 & they need an FIA license.

Oh right boys, I just bought this Triumph. A 1954 factory Press car & the only surviving example in the world. The TR2, 2.0L ported, twin solex carbs, 95hp on 935kg, 4 speed synchros with overdrive & wirewheels but drum brakes, full factory options which were not that many in those days :D Oh, no aircon but does have a rare hardtop.

Dealer will be fitting harness & rally tripmeter for me.

Yeah I know, it looks like a frog, not a pretty one but hope it'll grow on me & the color is nice. Finally a baby blue with tan leather! Rem that Gallardo? How about Gulf Porsches :) Ok, that's a long shot. The only advantage of this car is that it's eligible for all important historic events in Europe. Tour Auto, LeMans classic, Mille Miglia & perhaps Targa Florio.

I'll need a lightweight navigator soon. Got to read tulips & fantastic sense of direction.

Is it the Autocross? Organised by Lotus Malaysia or Lotus Singapore?

I took part in the last autocross training and came in 3rd.

It will be a blast if you get to use the Elise S1.

Thanks mate. It's a long shot & will have to start learning how to drive.

Heehee, this is like grandma's stuff. Think it'll be a really hairy experience running down straights @ 100mph & see how it stops in time then those tyres

Yeah boy, my idea is to buy it, enter events then sell it. Hopefully break-even but dealer told me once it goes through MM, value goes up by 30%

Thanks buddy. Is she older than you? :p

911S RHD are impossible to find in the open market now, they've all gone to auctions. Was still toying with 911E/T but they are not eligible for so many events. Had a brush with the 356SC earlier this week which was cheaper than this Triumph! But even that was not eligible for events. The historic revivals are quite strict which in turns send the values of these period racers up.

I actually found a very very interesting Jaguar XK120 roadster. It came into Singapore on 1st may 1951 & was registered in Ipoh. Went through the Malaya Emergency period fighting communists & even had some bullet holes! It's been in Scotland since 1954. Same owner since day one but he didn't call back & I can't afford it anyway. But old cars are like a story book, full of adventures :)

Flat broke mate. Anybody wants to buy a nice 997GT3RS.2 now?
