Toying with the idea of doing something with the 355 interior when she gets back from service. Does anyone know what seats these are? I've got the same interior.

    Cheers

Not sure what they are but I like them! Are those 360 CS seats?

They look like the optional 355 CF seats (the CF seats can be ordered with any Ferrari from the 355 onwards), but they don't seem to have the CF backs on them.

So, I reckon they are a cheaper alternative to the factory CF seats. They look great too.

They look like retrimmed Recaro Sportster CS seats, similar to the seats in Audi R8s and RS4s etc

    Lovely interior.

How do you mount a Recaro seat into a 355? They don't make a mounting kit for it.

You modify the seat rails to suit. ;)

These seats were recently offered for sale here by Brhill355 and the photo is of his car (which was also for sale). The ad stated that they were bolt-on using the OEM mounting hardware, but you can see from the picture that the handbrake cover had to be cut to create enough lateral room. As already stated, the seats are custom upholstered Recaro Sportster CS.

The following thread gives a good idea of what fitting such seats involves (Sparco in this case, with the center console modified instead of the handbrake cover).

Yep, I modified the seat rails to fit Recaro seats into my Ford Fairlane 10+ yrs ago.

They never sold a bolt in "kit" for my model, so I had a boiler maker friend cut and shut my original seat rails to suit the new Recaro seats.
