Now now, what have you naughty boys been up to while I'm busy Hey congrats on the Lotus. It is hell lot of fun car, spent the whole yesterday afternoon fooling around in the carpark with Elises & we can't get enough. I've finally learnt handbrake turns but needs a lot of practise to perfect it. Sorry to disappoint but I came bottom of the table cos instead of making a 360 turn, I made double donuts & lost timing but it was really fun drifting & smoking tyres. My group were a bunch of serious drivers & one even came in his Lp640 but it was the Porsche guys who did best. I did manage to clock a good top 2 timing without pulling handbrake after the competition but no where near the best instructor & National champion who was 4 secs faster! Finally, we brought our own cars in to do the autocross & one guy even fielded his S class! Should've brought my camera as there were many nice moments of actions. The RS was too much power & wide tyres with lots of loose pebbles made it clumsy but should've turned off all aids as it was cutting off power when I needed it! I'm quite interested with the new Toyota AE86 on sale here, RM243K OTR with delivery in 2 months. 2.0LNA, RWD, 200hp on a 1.2tons. I heard Singapore is selling it for S$170K.
Hey, what color are you speccing your Evora? Is it a base model? Saw the GTE in TopGear with Stig. What's the future for them now?
Congrats! Lotus Evora is really one good looking car. I was first hooked to it while watching the TV series 'Chuck'. Not sure if any of you watch it. Hats off to the designer. They finally have a breakthrough in their design in this Evora, which is unlike those small, short Exige etc.

Thanks guys. Expected pick up date might be somewhere next week. Will keep you guys posted and maybe we could have a meet up. It is Laser Blue with the Sport Pack. It is not the supercharge model as I would not want to be limiting my future mods because of the charger. I am thinking of getting the GTN kit which makes the car look like a GTE/GT4 Evora which is sweet. It will be the only Laser Blue in SGP until someone else chooses the color again. Future for Lotus? Same. Always looking to be bought by others. Dany Bahar, the CEO who has been suspended is getting stick because he spent money flying around attending the Lotus events at F1. The new owners claim he is misusing the funds.

Where have you been?!? Nice, king you only gotta up your boost a bit and that car will fly more. The engine block definitely has been built for way more power... Congrats Leroy. Its a lovely car! Wraps are ok so long as you are not super fussy. I had one on the roof of my old SL. Was fine for me. But wth is laser blue!? Haha. Sounds ominous. Jon, Lambo drivers are not exactly serious drivers. Porker drivers on the other hand typically are Well not all, but more than Lambo drivers anyway.
How does laser blue looks like? Do you have pics? I saw the pic of a black/gold Lotus Evora @ the Geneva show this year & it looks good! So the Espirit is still in line ya? Didn't know narrow & hard tyres can be so much fun as our tyres have grown too wide & soft to enjoy. Been wondering which car I can take to practise.
