Ok, I have several questions about the leather in our cars. The first questions are what surfaces are covered in leather? Steering wheel-yes. Seats yes but what about the backs of the front seats? Front door panels, how about the sides in the back seating area. The head liner-no. How about the rear package shelf and the material at the farthest aft part of the interior that is right next to the rear glass? Also how about the small box that houses the trunk and gas levers. Is there anything else I'm missing? I had one car that had the "leather seating option" but it only had leather on the part you sat on, the sides and back of the seats were vinyl! I would assume the Ferrari is made to a higher standard but we all know about ASSuming anything. Second set of questions is how to best care for the leather. How do you clean it? How do you preserve it? I know there is some talk of leatherique, is this required all of the time or only when the leather has been neglected. In my other leather cars I have used a McGuires product that seems to work very well. I typically use it twice a year with good results. Thanks for your inputs.
Hi Jim I recently Leatheriqued my interior with their Rejuvinator oil and Prestine Cleaner. I think that practically all the surfaces are leather except the headliner in my car. It came up very nicely and I plan to repeat the treatment from time to time. Aidan
