One I did of the 70-200. I really need to just go with lenses I know I love, because I'm putting this one back up for sale, mainly for the same reason I sold the last one, I'm just not going to use it. I used it a lot over the last couple weeks, but I know I won't touch it for at least a month or two and I can't stand having this very expensive piece of glass just sitting in my bag not being used. I think I'm going to go back to my original plan of a walkaround zoom (24-105) and the rest primes.

    Haha that was fast.

But yah, I have a growing prime obsession. Want a wide prime, and REALLY want a tele prime but I don't buy lottery tickets...

I got 3 really good shoots out of it so it was worth the $50 I'll lose selling it.

    Some good stuff recently.
Really like the Miami long exposure and also the shot of the shopping carts, would never have thought of that one!
The water drops on those leaves look amazing too, great clarity!

    Love the Bug "RS"!

Get yourself a Canon EF 300mm/2.8 USM and start taking some awesome fast car shots at the track! This and nature shots are the whole reason to own a DSLR in my book.

But I love trying to push the limits of my PEN to see what I can get. I took these in KL at the Malaysian GP last year.

    Some good stuff again recently!
The sunset over the ocean is fantastic, so is the close up of the bee and I like those F1 shots considering the camera. That shot of the cornering McLaren is so sharp!

One of my recent ones, a reflection in the local river at night:

Love the last shot with the graining! It's too bad bee populations are rapidly dying off with our help without being swatted. Scary.

Thanks. That's using the pretty average quality 150mm zoom lens at full extension. Not easy to get those with this camera. Gotta keep a really steady hand and time your shutter pull perfectly. Kind of like hunting. Fun. There's a lot a blurry crap from that day I threw out. That's what makes using a camera like that fun though, at least for me.

    LOL

Must be some kind of bug. Dunno. ;)

On a more serious/photographers note: I realized that vibration reduction is worth more than focal length: My Sigma at 600mm didn't produce as clear a picture as the Tamron at 270mm (shown enlarged in the post). Maybe I learned something today. Time to ditch the Bigma?

    It'll buff right out.
    ;)

I used to shoot a 500 with my SLR. Nifty lens but needed to be very securely braced. Ended up using the 250 a lot more.

View from the hotel room I get every year to watch the Singapore GP. The original looks much more impressive, but lazily I'm linking to the low q Facebook image.
