Anyone heard of any issues with 2008 F430 Scuderia, or what are the differences from 2008 Scuderia compare with 2009? Thanks!

You should try doing some searches on some of these topics as they have already been covered. However the only real difference I know of is that all the 09 came with the US carbon package. No other real difference.

there are not much diffrence in mechanical parts. but the early car have issue regarding the carbon parts get dull. in the recent 2009 car they change parts on the carbon resin, and the problem with yellowing is gone. I might be wrong. and all the 2008 is now out of warranty. and it's affect the resale price on the car as well.

Do not agree on the 09s mitigating the CF motor rain deflectors/covers discoloration issue. Mine was replaced with an 09 OEM new CF panel and is showing small spots of discoloration. There have been several threads on the issue and believe it was a supplier driven problem.

I was told that Ferrari will warranty lifetime if the carbon got yellow. Is that true?

Any idea on the cost to replace those CF bits in the engine? I'm looking at an 09 scud and apparently the dealer said they had already tried to warranty the carbon fiber parts in the engine compartment and they were unsuccessful..

The car is now out of warranty so I'm wondering what can be done if any...

They do not need to be replaced, just refinished. Someone posted a company here, I think in Georgia who Ferrari sends parts to for refinishing.

My coolant cover was refinished, not replaced and it looks brand new.

I posted it a while back. I think it was Magnum Collisions. Last time I checked, last month, they had a backlog of at least 3weeks. I think Ferrari has been sending a lot of they CF parts to be refinished. It's way cheaper than replacing them and they look brand new!

And BTW, The Scud's not so talk about issue is that it makes you feel like a bad ass hoodlum waking up everyone in the wakes of your glorious sound!

On my 2009 Scud, all the carbon parts where replaced while it was still under factory warranty, including the headlights. None of the new parts have discolored yet.
