    If I'm not mistaken you don't actually ever get to own this car right? Don't you pay for the luxury of "renting" it and tracking it??

    As I undertand it, you own it and can do what you want with it but most owners take up the option for Ferrari to store it and transport it to the various events.

    This is correct.

    The car belongs to you and you can choose to leave it at the factory and have Ferrari bring it to events and manage it for you.

    But the car is definitely yours!!

    Although, I was under the impression you can upgrade all 599XX's to the EVO if you pay the $.

    Yes, all XXs are upgradeable with the Evo kit. The car for auction is a new 599 XX Evo at list price
