This dude created the seat holder for a 308. I leave mine in the trunk secured to the side carpeting.

Ok, i'll get a brushed Aluminum one and find away to secure it in the trunk, i don't like it as jewelry in the cab although probably the best place for it.

Please get that thing into the cabin - ANYWHERE !!! If God forbid, you had a fire back there, you would certainly be challenged to get to the fire bottle !!! Your luggage set is lovely but it is totally useless in a fire.

    You too, Ted :(

    Sorry for the rant,

    Hank

I agree. I'm thinking maybe that seat mount but behind the seat (my children's feet don't hit the floor yet) or in that area by the top where some people put speakers in.

i think this out when my car gets back.

Hank, where and how did you mount yours ?
My trunk one is fairly large, I'm thinking to get a smaller one in the cabin either mount to the foot well of passenger side or get a small one that fits in my luggage set in the rear seats but I like the conceal look. Not sure the long term yet, just thankful my car is running good!

First thing I bought for the car after buying the Mondial was a fire extinguisher. In fact, I took the extinguisher with me when I went to pick the car up and drive it home. It stays in the cab with me.

The color is fab and the wooden steering wheel really sets it off.
    Thanks for sharing.
